We offer a full range of high quality Cache NCFE and ICQ Accredited programs for new and existing staff members. Each course is 95% funded by the UK Government.

Each Nationally Accredited program is industry and OFSTED recognised, providing you peace of mind that our training is the very best and most effective for each business and each individual.

Training

Courses typically last between one and three years depending upon the level and each course is run is accredited by NCFE Cache and ICQ. This means that your program is Nationally Accredited and institutionally recognised.

How Do Courses Work

Learning is conducted within the workplace. Students must be provided an employer mentor to support the program and are expected to utilise 20% of their work time towards achieving the qualification known as 20% off the job training.

Each program blends theory with work practices and each student is assigned a personal Tutor Assessor who will visit the workplace every six to eight weeks. Further support is offered via online meetings using ‘Go to Meeting or MS Teams, as well as webinars, seminars and study groups.

Where possible, learning days will take place for groups or individuals to undertake teaching and learning sessions and to research and develop within a teaching environment. These sessions can take place on or off site and may take place online if needed. Students and employers are provided access to an e-portfolio system, plus our learning Hyb to submit work, monitor progress and undertake additional CPD to stretch and challenge.

As part of the program students and employers will undertake a series of initial assessments before the program starts to ensure suitability for the program and to ensure the correct level of program is undertaken. Maths and English assessments will be utilised along side proof of prior learning and where required Students will undertake Maths and English Functional Skills qualifications.

Your Learning

For small to medium sized companies, the current funding rules within England allow for 95% of the course to be funded by the UK Government. Employers are required to pay the remaining 5%.

Employers are required to provide 20% off the job time to support learning and development and to provide opportunities for additional work experience and activities to support the Apprenticeship program.

Our Childcare Courses

Early Years Educator (L2)

For employees who work and interact directly with children on a day to day basis supporting the planning of and delivery of activities, purposeful play opportunities and educational programmers within the ethos of the setting. An EYP works as part of a professional team ensuring the welfare and care for children under the guidance and supervision of an Early Years Educator, teacher, or other suitably qualified professional within the Early Years Workforce.

Qualification Overview
• This qualification will enhance and improve the following behaviours skills and knowledge:
• Work in partnership with other colleagues, parents and/or carers
• Use play to support children to understand and encourage healthy life choices
• Identify issues of safeguarding and child protection
• Carryout self-reflection and use continuous professional development
• Undertake specific tasks related to safety and hygiene
• Contribute to the planning androgenize activities
• Communicate and interact with children to support their learning and development
• Support the completion of accurate and up-to-date records
• Support the well-being of all children including those with additional needs

The Course
This course is 100% work based. Monthly One to one tuition will take place online and, in the workplace. English and Math skills are also included as part of the course package.

Duration And Delivery
This course will take a minimum of 12 months to complete. Delivery will be a mix of e-learning, written assessment, professional discussions, and observations. Learners will complete independent research and apply this to their job role. Learners will complete 20% off the job hours, enabling learners the opportunity to widen their behaviors, skills, and knowledge.

Early Years Educator (LEVEL 3)

For employees who are working independently or supervising others to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements set by Government for the learning, development, and care of children from birth to 5 years old. This
qualification is required under the Education Inspection Framework.

Qualification overview

This qualification will enhance and improve the behaviours skills and knowledge, some areas covered include:

  • Planning and leading activities, purposeful play opportunities and educational programmes which include the learning and development areas of current early education curriculum requirements
  • Engage in effective strategies to develop and extend children’s learning and thinking, including sustained shared thinking
  • Support and promote children’s speech, language and communication development
  • Plan and provide activities Identify the needs, interests and stages of development of individual children
  • Discuss children’s progress and plan next stages in their learning
  • Engage in continuing professional development and reflective practice
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and plan and carry out physical care
  • Undertake tasks to ensure the prevention and control
  • Maintain accurate and coherent records and reports
  • Work in partnership with parents and/or carers and encourage play, learning and development

This course is 100% work based. Monthly One to one tuition will take place online and, in the workplace. English and Maths skills are also included as part of the course package.

To achieve the full qualification learners will complete an End-point assessment 2 months prior to completion date.
Learners will be awarded a full nationally accredited certificate in line with Ofsted requirements.

Supervisor (LEVEL 3)

Nationally accredited and designed for nursery practitioners in a junior management position wishing to gain the Behaviours, Skills and Knowledge to become an effective Supervisor.

Qualification Overview

  • Interpersonal excellence – managing people and developing relationships
  • Leading, managing, communicating, and building relationships with people
  • Organisational Performance – delivering results by operational and finance management
  • Personal Effectiveness – awareness, management, and self-reflection

The Course
This course is 100% work based. Monthly One to one tuition will take place online and, in the workplace. English and Maths skills are also included as part of the course package.

This course will take a minimum of 12 months to complete. Delivery will be a mix of e-learning, written assessment, professional discussions, and observations. Learners will complete independent research and apply this to their job role. Learners will complete 20% off the job hours, enabling learners the opportunity to widen their behaviours, skills, and knowledge.

Achievement
To achieve the full qualification learners will complete an End-point assessment 2 months prior to completion date. Learners will be awarded a full nationally accredited management certificate at level 3.

Children & Young People’s Families Practitioner (LEVEL 5)

For employees who play a significant role in early intervention and safeguarding. This course is designed for practitioners supporting the confidence and skills of children, young people and families.

Qualification Overview

  • Communication to enable the voice of the child, young person, or family member to be heard •
  • Multiple factors contributing to uncertainty in the lives of children, young people and families.
  • Equality, rights, diversity and cultural differences, and the values of the organisation in which you are working
  • The range of potential safeguarding risk factors and requirements
  • Work together with children, young people, and families to keep them safe and manage risk

The Course
This course is 100% work based. Monthly One to one tuition will take place online and, in the workplace. English and Maths skills are also included as part of the course package.

Achievement
To achieve the full qualification learners will complete an End-point assessment 2 months prior to completion date.
Learners will be awarded a full nationally accredited certificate in Higher Education in working with Children Young People and Families

This course will take a minimum of 12 months to complete. Delivery will be a mix of e-learning, written assessment, professional discussions, and observations. Learners will complete independent research and apply this to their job role.
